October 2021 has been very unusual. Normally, during these dates we would have been right in the peak of the autumn’s foliage, but this year due to the lack of rain and an overall good weather autumn arrived very late. As you can see from the pictures below, most of the larches were still green-ish, with just a few at the higher altitudes starting to take their typical golden color.
We got a full week of good weather too – which is something rather unusual given the season and the location.
Sky conditions were mostly clean, but we got some colorful sunsets even without any spectacular clouds!
